I was a bad influence. I don't mind rough housing/biting personally but it won't be good when the baby gets to that "torment the cat by pulling on its tail" phase lol. Luckily he's calmed down a lot in recent years now that he's almost 10 years old. When he was a kitten he'd straight up chase people and bite their ankles, it was hilarious

If I get a chance today, I'll try to call ARB Tech Support. This has made me quite curious. I think what we have is a simple case of older posts and videos before they changed their mounts (they did make some modifications). Will see what I can find out. I have the time, I'll make the call and see what I can dig up for you @Kwikvette @01x4

The whole fly swatter thing started over food. Harley got fat so he got less food. He started hissing and scratching me when I half filled his bowl. The fly swatter became a part of mealtime for my protection. I get hives from cat scratches.

I have to take omeprazole 20 mg 1-2 times daily and tums in the evening. If I don't my stomach pains wake me up. had to also cut back on hot sauce intake, but that "cut back" was minimal cause I love hot foods too fkn much. I just take more tums to compensate haha

I'm not sure what you mean. I just had stock before the new one. Do you mean the condition of the oem bolt? The new one came with stainless hardware so I chose to use those. The rubber on those sealing washers will fall off after you tighten them down & remove them a few times. They'll also move around & tie down won't be secure. They're not meant to be used that.

I've had my battery shift because of this & popped one of the caps off slightly spilling battery acid. I'll probably get an AGM next, due for a battery soon.

The delrin washers I made have a lip so they fit snug in the new tie down to take up all the play from the oversized holes. The thing is rock solid now. I didn't see the point of having the oversized holes for some adjustability as the tie down has adjustable stops on them.
