LOL I hear ya. Nothing against you or UGA for that matter, I just remember when UGA fans were calling for Richt to get the boot and "All hail Smart" and he has literally done the exact same thing as Richt even with these "greatest recruiting classes ever seen." Just wondering when some of the fanbase will finally get exhausted of the perpetual above mediocrity and call for Smart to get the boot and look elsewhere for them to finally get over the hump of winning a Championship.

 

ah, so the point is UGA has more fans than other teams. Or maybe nobody else really has anything to look forward to next year, except Clempson having another year of TL. Are you feeling threatened by the UGA takeover of the thread and lack of lsu cohorts to support you in the forum?

As a UGA/Braves fan I am used to the "norm" and have grown to expect an upset every year. I still believe Smart is our HC for a while. Looking around at what other teams have done with hiring/firing coaches UGA could be in a lot worse situation. Look at what Tennessee has went through the past since they fired Fulmer. Been a shit show coach after coach.

 

Some already are, most aren't yet. A bunch of trips to the Benz and several meaningful games and the thrill of 2017 lingering will buy anyone some time. If anyone can say with a straight face Kirby should be fired and there is someone better available, they have some serious cognitive issues.

Oh god, don't get me started with the damn Braves! I have been a die hard Braves fan since I was born so going on 34 years and the past few years have been as close to miserable as they can get....post season at least. I would almost rather not even make the playoffs than go through this winning the division or getting in the wild card game just to get embarrassed and or heart broken. I love our infield right now and hope we can add some help in the OF for Acuna. But for the love of all thats holy, GET A LEGIT CLOSER!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT! Meh, all this is for another thread though.

Anyway, back to college football...

Yea I agree with you here. Not to sound like the typical braggy Bama fan, but unfortunately I believe that Saban set an unrealistic expectation for other coaches to have early and consistent success at a school. We just happen to get lucky to be that said team to set that expectation. Me personally wants Saban to coach at Bama forever but being a realist and knowing that won't happen...the smartass/asshole side of me kinda can't wait to see all these spoiled "Bammers" come back down to Earth and realize what we are living through will likely never happen again, not just at Bama but at any other school. Like the Braves, I have been die hard Bama fan just as long and had to live through the early 2000s and let me tell you that shit was NOT fun! So I am very familiar of what the exact opposite of what we are living through feels like. These newbie Bama fans that are most likely just your typical bandwagoners are in for a rude awakening post Saban.

Haha I understand 100%!! We made the trip last playoffs to the game where the Cards put 10 on the Braves in the top of the 1st....... We left and got drunk in the battery by the 3rd.

I only thought Joe Burrow's numbers from this year would be hard to come close to anytime soon...I cannot imagine MSU with a Leach offense...
