So basically you are putting a limited slip in the front so when you want to turn tight off road, you need to revert to 2wd, and then engage 4wd to get locked up again correct?

It's been a quick few minutes since I was last lurking in here. Thought I would stop and say hi!

Back in America, boyos. Got out of there at the right time it sounds like...I'll be back home this weekend and project #1 is to go to work on the pile of Tacoma mods I have waiting for me in the spare room. I think I'll start with the dashboard liner, floor liners, and bed mat and go from there.

Finally got to put my new truck and dlink hitch mount to use. Took the truck wheeling for its first time at lake pleasant and came by two sidebysides that flipped off the side of the trail within 20 minutes of one another. Was able to get them both back on the trail with some tow straps. Luckily no one was hurt

Modding bug has bit hard and I have been biting back all week! So far I've installed Clazzios (this thing feels like a luxury car now), some cupholder liners, a customcargrills heavy duty grill, bed mat, floor liners, replaced the chrome tailgate and glovebox letters with black and inferno, respectively, and put in an S&B cold air intake. Say what you want about CAIs but I dig the sound and there is a little bit extra throttle response which is all I want. I'm not fooling myself in thinking I'm getting extra horses or MPG or anything. When it's coupled with the ECT button on, it's even better.

All that's left is one more badge on the driver side to be fully debadged, Redline hood struts, and Bilstein 5100/OME 887s in the front and 5100s with a single AAL in the rear. After that the next project is paying it off as early as possible.

What do you guys know about water softeners? We just bought a house, and it has one installed but it is broken and would need to be replaced. It looks like it would be an easy swap out with the plumbing. Any input? Recommendations on brands? The current one in there is an envirotech which I found they sell at spencers. Are those any good?

I'm back, for a little bit at least... Got awesome news just a few days ago that my WBC count is finally actually normal... low-ish, but normal. I'm no longer taking any painkillers. Haven't had the industrial-strength for 2 full years and just stopped low dose aspirin altogether.

So I guess moving out to this crispy desert shithole has done me some good.

Work on the garage remodel has stalled over the holidays but I am also bouncing between getting my home theater setup done too.

It's not finished & organized yet but the workstation is in:

So much better than cardboard boxes sitting on the floor! :anonymous:
