IMO...all this discussion about ride differences is mainly "BS". I had a 16' SR5 and now a 2020 TRD OR. To be honest I can't really tell much difference in the ride (paved in/out of town roads). I know the suspensions on the various trims..SR5, TRD OR and Sport, and Pro are different but as far as the two I have had...can't really tell much difference. However, I do like the blue color of my current shocks as they are visible through the rear fender well.

No prob, have also had 2 sports, 1 SR5 and 3 ORs. Honestly I prefer the sport on road, less body roll and floaty feeling than the OR stock stuff but both are fine on road.

I agree as I drove the Sport, Pro and OR and decided on the Sport for my spending about 75% of my time on the highway.

Well does the 6AT Tacoma's have a transmission studder or torque converter issue? I didn't think so. Hilarious.

Thanks man, I do lose some money but not more than trading in a domestic one time lol and sure it’s not the smartest financially but we all have our things. I don’t like sharing because the Dave Ramsey’s here like to chime in on how I should spend my money despite already having a healthy savings, retirement and down payment for a house when done with school in Dec.

I get it man haha the people who do the Dave thing are people who weren't involved with finances before life happens. Pretty basic shit to be honest. Anyways side tracked is your current taco your favorite combo yet or still looking ?

Exactly and I’ve used some of his stuff/read his books! Worked since I was 15 sometimes multiple jobs, paid for my own school, vehicles etc, had to learn life as I went but being active duty and a few deployments helped, I’m comfortable and nothing in life is guaranteed!

I’m fickle but right now it is. I do wish I had a locker though even though I used mine maybe once and now that I commute 2 hours round trip for clinicals the sport works for me, I prefer the fake skewp and color keyed stuff and cement is perfect, never not doing tech/prem again, so yep so far love it. Someday I’ll get around to building it if I’m not into something else, do have my eye on my Dads 18 raptor when he’s ready to trade in a few years, it’s a suburb crawler.

Tons of people spend a hundred bucks a night, every night, at bars. They wake up every day with nothing to show for it except a hangover and the always impending DUI charge.

Keep buying trucks if you like them.

    Where did I write that?

I guess you are right, no one has ever complained about the 6AT in the Tacoma. My bad.

    Like, so many.
Hey bud, welcome. I saw someone else suggest looking at a Sport. I second that. It for sure handles better on the road. In comparison, the OR feels a little "floaty." I've owned both the 3rd gen Sport and OR. The Sport is quite capable off road so unless you're going hard, you probably won't need the added off road competency of the OR. I think you should get the Sport in MGM then swap hoods with me.
