I really need to get that panel. I gotta get my fire extinguisher off my seat back panel. It makes it super tight folding the back seats forward.

I initially planned on mounting my fire extinguisher on that panel as well but I could imagine it being a very deadly projectile in the even of a crash.

In lieu of mounting it on the molle panel, I created my own bracket like a similar one I saw online (forgot the mount name) with some flat steel bar and some hardware from Home Depot. I installed the mount on my passenger door area. Seat still goes back and forth a good amount and is not hindered by the mount.

    Check it out:

I work testing vehicles for a major auto manufacturer group, and about 90% of the cars are crushed at the conclusion of testing. You don’t know how many times I’ve wanted to snag the height adjustable seat bracket assembly off of just one of them to adapt to my Tacoma. I considered the Audi power seats with the adjustable bolsters too and bottom and the multi massaging features, but just the jack frame would make my day.

10 minutes ago I was high on life. I have a design of that in my head and I'm positive it'll work well. However I just got off the phone and now I'm thinking about liability issues - it's a seat holding a human - it's not like a cell phone bracket or a electrical switch. I'll make one for myself but... :( I'm bummed.

I was going to save the Taco planet hahahaha!! Jk

Try unhooking the battery. As for me I gave up on the crap navigation like I have in every other vehicle I have owned. Went back to old trusty google maps. If I am traveling, I just download the area I am headed too. Worked great in northern Michigan and Colorado last year. GPS kept up just fine all the way to 10,000 feet. Phone signal had given out hours before.

Those bars look awfully close to the roll-up tonneau... do you have to remove the bars to open the bed?

Not a mod but more of a moment of frustration. Someone hit me at work today in the lot. Did at least get their info.

Had some down time at work and finally installed a Wheelers AAL and U-bolt Flip Kit that have been collecting dust in my garage.
