So it is possible that my truck has an exhaust leak; My coworker who used to work at Pep Boys, and knows a bit more about working on vehicles than I do, happened to be standing next to my Taco and heard what he thought was an exhaust leak. The truck is going in to have the serpentine belt and tensioners/pulleys replaced tomorrow morning, so I'll have Pete put the truck on lift so we can get a closer look. My truck just passed its annual emissions test with flying colors last September, so I don't really think the exhaust is leaking, and more than likely something just needs to be tightened.

Also, this thread accidentally got moved AGAIN! Looks like I'm gonna have to start a new thread in the "2nd Gen Build" section and have these merged AGAIN!

The white "Critter" truck has a slightly different 2.7L than the one in my truck, correct?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to swap a 2.7L from a 2nd gen into a 1st gen? I think the one in my truck has slightly more horsepower than the one in your truck...

Also, in case any non-members* reading this are wondering what "BST" is, it is the Buy/Sell/Trade section of this site.

    Gassing up before my Dash...

The highest average gas mileage I’ve gotten in the last few months is about 18 MPG!
