    The LP4 is the smallest variant in the LP line up but maintains all of the power and features of its siblings. The LP4 features a total of 8,750 lumens and a 200° spread of useable LED light.

    This light pumps out 7,050 forward projecting lumens and 1,700 lumens of dedicated peripheral lighting courtesy of our patented Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT).

    To keep your light performing at its highest potential, the LP4 integrates our proprietary Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) technology. This feature allows air to travel through the front of the housing, over the rear heat sinks - drastically improving cooling capacity and performance.

    With an amber day-time running light, the LP4 will fulfill all your lighting needs.

    So what are the benefits of these of the squadrons??? Better cooling and larger spread?

    The LP4 puts out almost double the lumens of the Squadron Pro and utilizes a combination of multiple LED styles to target different lighting zones. It uses a larger reflector, geared towards farther distances, but also has the Integrated Peripheral Lighting (IPT) to illuminate the near-field and cornering zones.

    Another common comparison is the XL80 vs LP4. They have similar numbers on paper. However, the LP4 again caters to multiple zones and needs. As such, it distributes the light into more areas, versus the more targeted and specific results of the XL80.

    In short, the LP series as a whole are designed for those that do not have the cash, mounting space, or time to install a complete lighting package. If you need a pair of lights that does the most possible for the size, the LP series should be of interest to you.

    Hope that helps!

    Would love these as an alternative to a lighbar across the front or roof of our Tacoma, big problem for me here in BC is not having any way to cover them.

    Orange backlight is super cool and looks great but I wouldn't get 100m down the street before being pulled over and getting a vi..

    Ah, not sure we will have covers for these any time soon, but... we will be releasing a linkable system for our XL series very soon! Rock guards are already offered for the XL, and really this will be a more ideal roof mounted solution than the LP4 anyway.

    I keep my Squadron Pros covered, and the Sports are in the fog pockets so they are less noticeable..

    I always did think Doug's triple XL look was handsome;
