None of those are included with the base model packages. Heated seats, leather, cross traffic alert/BSM, moonroof, leather all require package add ons.

The most important bit of information I get from that... we have a 4/10 rating for "Fuel Economy & Green House Gas Rating".

Did you go back and get a fully loaded (and not based on what YOU call fully loaded but a true, all options in, fully loaded) Tacoma and see the price in your area? Right now we know how much they are in our area's but you said they are cheaper in your area.

Yes and no. I can attest to at least two boomers who do just that. One in a sport and one in an SR5. That doesn't change the fact that there are a metric crap ton of Tacoma IG overlanders.

But wait. If you buy them now for the low, low price of $1317 + $283 (bragging rights fee), we'll throw in the extra $5000 worth of the dealer laughing his way to the bank for FREE!

Meanwhile, Shamwow guy is ringing out all the BS.

If 17 would have came with leather it would be the perfect truck. I do miss no TSS.

I mostly kid about this. I don’t think there is any any truthful worthwhile differences between the years. Every new year apparently is the “best yet”, then 6 months later they all be yelling “OV tune”, “regear” and “moving to a Tundra”. True taco peeps know all tacos are tacos and will always be tacos.

I strongly doubt that all the IG stuff accounts for even 5% of the quarter million sales figure. Goes for TW, too. As with everything on social media, the loudest and most noticeable are not the majority.

Well there is at least 1/4 million Tacoma posts on Instagram every hour, so maybe. Sometimes I think people photograph this truck more than drive it.

TSS is a joke. I asked Toyota to deactivate it on my second day.
Don't judge me. At least I don't have IG.

You ain’t missing much. Like FB it’s mostly over. Boutique websites like TW are the only things worth being part of, which, ironically, is how the internet began.

I told myself I was gonna deactivate FB and IG this semester, if anything its just people posting staged photos that only highlight the best part of their life / given moment. Just as many experts have said, its leading to huge spikes in depression, isolation and anxiety and I feel it too, hard not to seeing friends traveling, buying houses, perfect spouse, job, kids. Unhealthy distraction and when boiled down to it vanity and a dopamine fix when you get those likes/hearts.

Are you saying we need to bring back the decades of old to include MySpace and eBaums world?

the $4000 premium package is the biggest portion of the price increase. without the premium package, you don't get the entune head unit with HD radio and the NAV system. you just get the carplay head unit without the Navigation.

TRD OR, towing package and LED headlights was around a grand more than what I paid for my 2016 TRDOR. I forget the price I paid now, but remember thinking the trade off wasn't bad. I traded in the NAV and HD radio for power seats and LED headlights with a little adjustment for inflation.

+1 I couldn't even remember which thread this was. When I scrolled up, I realized how far off the beaten path we have gone. I'm going to go be alone in my build thread and talk to myself now. The depression is setting in from all this online interaction.
