make sure you get a siphon or a way to pour them. Stand alone is going to be messy..

Apparently not. The OP hasn't responded to this thread since last year (12/2018).

hey guys, what spouts do you all use with your cans? I keep seeing differing reviews on the plastic one on Amazon. Could I just use a long funnel?

While I have several of the Scepter spouts the old school military donkey dicks work just fine as well.

Yeah i keep hearing about these donkey dicks haha but i cant find one for under $70. I am also thinking about just using a siphon so i dont have to hold the can to fill up

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
These have worked great for me.

Leave the metal donkey dicks for the antique collectors, they suck. I don’t even like the plastic screw over because of the breather hole they leak until you get enough pressure going. However, these that screw inside bypass the breather.

I have never had an issue with the donkey dick spouts. Though they do pose problems for non-diesel vehicles as they are too big to get past the flapper in the filler neck. There are some rare "thin" donkey dick spouts (I own one) but good luck finding them.

The scepter spouts only leak through the breather hole if the internal breather tube is broken/missing.

The problem with the one you linked to is that it uses a tapered NPT thread, which will damage the can's straight cut internal threads over time as it gets screwed in tighter and tighter.
