I bet we could get so much work done on several trucks in a day with a group of TTC members

The insurance company screwed me. Said that even though I had every invoice and pictures of the installs that since they were items that were not installed by the dealer or at the port that they could only give me partial reimbursements. And if it was an item say for instance like tires and wheels then I would have to replace it if I took it off with OEM parts. Well, the truck was crammed in a lot with hundreds of other totalled vehicles, and I mean side by side, and the business hours were during the day and everything would have to be done by hand, or under battery power. I had a fractured bone in my primary hand, and would need help with just about anything serious.

And man I went through the same thing in high school in regards to mods. You're definitely not alone, insurance gets weird about that type of stuff, especially if there's still a lean on the truck. I'd say if it ever happened again i'd strip the parts... but honestly if I wrecked the Taco now I wouldn't even file a claim and would fufill its destiny as a beater. But if I had a mid level modded truck i'd just try my best and strip it before the insurance gets their claws in it. Hard to do when your truck getting totaled probably means you're banged up though...

Best friend and I promised eachother we'd strip the others Taco if we totaled one and one of us was okay a few weeks after I rolled the Tundra

I'm Not gonna compare trucks, Rob. Each one is great in it's own way. Just too bad with all the insurance rigamarole. Guy few streets over just got an inferno but his has black fender flares. Still kinda reminded me of your old truck tho.
