It was nice seeing all of you and catching up for a bit. @IDKS the runner is looking nice! And @Norsemanvike the girls did a good job at putting your sliders on for you. I mean with you.

Picked up a ARB single compressor and got it mounted and wired up today.. also while working on the truck Amazon dropped off a few items.

 

Had purchased a uca rebuild kit this weekend which ended up being a headache and didn’t quite work out... instead ended up selling my icon UCA’s and made the switch over to Dirt King’s..thanks to @HeadStrong Off-Road for making that happen! ... also ended up switching out my #650’s for some #700’s. Big thanks to both @desertjunkie760 and @Prayn4surf on that one.. now for a alignment and see how the truck feels with the changes. Hit up @desertjunkie760 for your suspension needs!


After fooling around with my truck. I was able to get working on a project I have going for @sdsurfer... so far it’s looking better then mine. Thinking about swapping before the install. Haha



Now it’s time to relax. Beers n BBQ!

 

Trying something new on the truck. Purchased a CVT tent on Black Friday, and a BAMF low profile bed rack shortly after. Overall I am happy with this setup and Wife and kids enjoyed using it this last weekend for our first time. No complaints and said it is pretty comfortable. Thanks to @JLee for keeping his word and being honest with his current lead times. That’s some good, honest Business.

So this last weekend from 2/14-2/17 @Prayn4surf @Tombiology70 @Donjuan and myself headed out for a Death Valley trip. After day 1 we met up with @TacoPharm who was traveling alone. Not sure what I was stepping into but just did some reading up and watched a few YouTube videos and looked like it was going to be a good time. Haha. Sure enough it ended up being my wife’s and my best trip so far! Definitely in the memory books! Just taking the time off work for once to get away and not have a single worry. Altogether the trip was around 1300 miles. Out of those miles a little over 700 miles were just in Death Valley alone. A lot of grounds were covered in just 4 days but the driving was well worth it! Will not step to much into detail but here are a few pictures of the trip.

Dude it was!! Couldn’t believe the views, sunsets etc that are out there. In person it is amazing! Weather was perfect and no winds. We even camped out at Charles Manson Ranch one night. Haha. Will definitely go out there again.

Yea we did good covering a lot of miles. Even hit up some nice obstacles, shitload of jeeps were out and seen a Lexus who smashed his door in.

 

His nurf bars were nurrfffed lol

 

Sounds like he wasn’t prepared for his gram worthy overland bound adventure

 

Nope, pretty funny watching the 15 jeeps go over the obstacles too.
