    Roll the meat out a bit thicker, then use something to form some "divots" in that layer and crack it in. Probably want to keep the divots on the bottom or bottomish side.

    After this, I also did turkey smashburgers and did a griddle pork chop. I learned that to griddle well, the pork chop should be flat. :mad:

    I learned a helpful tip when watching some Gordon Ramsay YouTube videos, if you put a few cuts into the fat on the pork chop it will help keep it flat as they tend to curl up after searing the first side.

    Not sure if that'd help in your case, could have just had a wonky chop :rofl:

    The power has always worked when plugged to the 120 outlet. I have not yet tested again if the clamps will work on the battery.
