Looks like your front lights block the view of the emergency lights.. I have one that’s similar.. STL lights. Red and white.

Totally legit question, I was actually worried myself. But due to both refraction and vehicle movement my concern was overrated. In fact the variability I feel adds to the randomness of the output making the alert more eye catching, much like the atmospheric effect on stars.

Hard to capture the full intensity with an iPhone vid but this shows how the lights dance around the KCs “adequately”. If you look at the “smaller” grill lights in comparison (which are very bright in real life) you can get the sense the roof bar is beaming.

I also like to keep the profile low for branches and wind. Again, the upTOP rack is the key to a simple one evening install!

Dude, it’s your rack that put me in outer space! One unexpected benefit is that for some reason women really dig this rack. I get lots of comments and smiles when running errands or carpooling. Of course it may just be my overt manliness, but it’s a good thing I’m happily married.

Well, definitely looks good. Definitely 360 visible. I had the ally lights installed on my emergency lights. They could be a lot brighter though.

Nothing yet brother. Still waiting for the goodness to arrive. Right now I’m trying to figure out what to do with this single cab. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I got my Alpha rack delivered and I am impressed with the product and more importantly the customer service. I assembled the rack and installed the thinFIN along with internal wire harness. All that’s left to do is mount to roof and marry up the 2 harness’. I have plenty of extra plugs for spare hole in thinFIN if anyone needs. Just PM me and I will send to you. Also FYI on my 2019 the antenna nut was 22mm (not 21mm) and also it had 2 tabs that had to be squeezed to release from roof. Hopefully tomorrow I will mount it and post some pics. Thanks again to Micah and all @upTOPoverland for getting lost package resent immediately

It seems like a lot at first. But once you start it goes by quick. Congrats. Can’t wait to see pics.

Yup. Most of the work I found was dropping headliner and getting everything wired up inside the truck. I just didn’t feel like doing anymore once I got the interior all put back together. I also took the time to put a fresh coat of ceramic coating on roof before it gets covered for good.
