I found that kind of $hit running rampant when I was trying to find pulleys. Parts price would be great, but then they slap the remaining portion of the MSRP price on as shipping, so they would get the full amount one way or another....

    Udder crap!!

Finally found a site on ebay called Asianauto that had the parts reasonably priced with free shipping.

Don't they have a 1 year 12k mile warranty? Or is that only applicable when it is installed by the stealership?

I love it when yall actually talk truck shit in here. I'm on too many BS threads as is, so it's hard for me to keep up here.

Lump sum check for a year long side job I did is in the mail. I'm spending most of it on 315s (gussets, marlin brace, tubbing) then once I know 315s fit I will regear and locker up.

I have been reading about the steering racks and fuck it's another thing. Not sure I can swing it in these upcoming major big boy mods. So question, when you've blown them could you still drive your truck and baby it around town till you got your new rack? Was any of the events catastrophic? howd ya know?

    Appreciate the consult.

So far it’s all just been leaky seals, so I’ll just keep the reservoir topped off and it lasts me until I can get it replaced. I’m currently running a reman aftermarket rack (A1 Cardone) because it was pretty inexpensive and read good things on here. I think it’s be great for a stock truck but not one that wheels on 35s. I’m hoping that the oem rack is strong enough, since I’m not THAT hard on the rack.

Stick around Shawn. There are times we talk so much truck shit in here you'll think it's a cult. But it's not.

Did I miss your answer about the steering stabilizer question?

Oh yeah! I don’t know for sure. But I’m pretty sure that’s a solid axle thing.

Oh, wonder why the axle type has anything to do with it. I thought it was more of a shock absorber for your steering components. I figured if you could dampen the shock while off roading it would take the stress off the components, including the rack.

I just read most of this.

    https://www.extremeterrain.com/why-add-a-steering-stabilizer-to-your-toyota-tacoma.html

It would take some digging for the adequate one but they definitely make these for Tacoma's. I did a 5 minute search and 4WP sells them pretty cheap.

Randy. Question for you. Do you still have the blue tooth on the top drivers side pillar? I would think that it would nullified by the toob dawrz

The boat shoes have actually been replaced Jaime, finally. After all these years.

It is long gone. Now I'm just a rebel and talk with the phone to my ear in the off chance I need to make a call in the truck.

Were they replaced with another boat shoe or did you downgrade to crocs?
