Took awhile to get the shims (cut up credit card) so the knob oriented right. This thing makes driving way more fun. Awesome craftsmanship.20200109_190511.jpg

    Canada Eh!
I've already inquired with @7r41lbr34k3r , but unfortunately he's not doing any custom work until the spring, and he's all out of the MT V2's in delrin (all black). Thats exactly what I'm looking for. (possibly with a hybrid core to bring the weight up to 300-400 grams)

Yah, I’ve heard that too. However, if there’s a group who want to get a knob, it might give him a good order when he returns.

I’m looking for an all black V2 for my AT.:fingerscrossed: Xmas killed my ability to snag the last one till it was too late :(

It never fails. Interest always returns when I sell out of something. I had both of these in stock since late August/early Sept. ... until just recently.

I had a few more emails/PM's about the Delrin knobs as well, and knew this was going to happen when they were gone. Every. Single.Time.

This makes it difficult to plan production runs, because many folks basically only want what I do not have.

Sounds like we might have enough interest in a small run of Black Delrin knobs when Spring comes around?? ;):fingerscrossed:

Buyer: "Hi, looking for X knob ... how much $ and how long is the wait?"

Me: "I have that one in stock right now."

    Buyer:

Buyer: "What about this custom engraving with 3,862 features, can you do this? Oh, and here is the most unusable picture of the design I could find."

Me: "Yes, but the additional fee is $x"

    Buyer:

Buyer again: "Can you spend 4 hrs to model that up for me so I can decide?"

Nah. Most of the time things go smoothly, but that scenario above has played out many times.

I've learned a ton about sales doing this, but all of that knowledge was learned against my will. Wish I could afford to hire somebody to take care of that stuff for me.

I actually got sick to my stomach about this. Keep trying to tell myself "Hey, 1 wrong in 300 attempts is pretty good!" Doesn't help as much as it should.

Luckily it landed in the hands of an upstanding citizen and we all agreed that forwarding it to the correct location was the ideal move. :fingerscrossed:

Shit happens no matter how much we try to prevent it. That’s part of business. Don’t sweat it, brotha. Hopefully, the recipient doesn’t either.

Installed during my lunch and took it out for a spin. I can honestly say this is my favorite mod so far. If you're thinking about picking up a knob from Rick, stop thinking and just pick one up (when he has another batch, of course). Although not cheap, you won't regret it. So much more ergonomic than the OEM.
