I've driven my buddies RHD Land Cruiser around SLC once or twice. Drive throughs and those ticket kiosk things like when you park at the airport are a hassle you don't think about.

The Jimmy John's drive through lady didn't find me going through the drive through lane backwards as amusing as I did.

Yes, got the impression like you had a vehicle picked out. If so, was wondering what it was.

Ooh. Now there's a thinker. I use the crap out of my roof tent so that would be my decision, but Kings are comfy AF. I think it would really come down to do you wheel more or do you camp more (where stock shocks would get you there fine)

I'd go with whats more practical in all honesty. Kings are cool, but I would miss my tent more.

No I'll probably go with a tent. I got my last kuk for like $1250 out the door on black friday. Gonna hurt me to pay $1600.....

Honestly, REI is the best deal by far. 1500 for the Kuk sky model, and you get 10% back as a member. And free shipping.

Thats where I got my first one, except it was on BF. Have you been to any of their garage sales? I've been out of town for every single one.

Not here, but I was a frequent flier when I lived in Seattle and LA. Some hella good deals could be had if you knew where to look.

    not enough.
I've been to REI garage sales and if you're not the first in line...it's worthless. All the good stuff gets picked out. But then again, I'm on the average side of sizing so everything's gone anyways.

That said, Kings vs tent, if go with what you'd use more. Sounds like tent.

Spent a couple months driving around NZ as my first experience on the left. Little manual campervan with failing brakes and the smallest tires I've ever driven. The first day leaving the rental depot in the middle of the city figuring out how the fuck to drive on the left was so stressful, I wasn't used to having so much vehicle to the left of me I nearly took off like 3 side mirrors that first day. Once you get the hang of it its not too bad, but after driving 4500km there and then coming back home I was even thrown off driving on the right for a day.

Watch for a backcountry.com 20% off one item. Call them up and put the Kuk on there and tell them you will also pick it up from their warehouse in WV. That is what I didnt' and I think I was 1320 out the door. 20% off plus you save on the freight to ship.

REI does similar deal from time to time as well I have heard, which you can also pick up in store and save on shipping.

Backcountry knows the date that REI does theirs and usually does it a week earlier or the same week.

This is an easy choice...Kings FTW!

Edit: Don’t forget the TC UCA’s.
