Marked borders with painters tape, wife's hair dryer and fishing line to take em off, painted em (adhesion promoter, krylon plastic then clearcoat), put some 3m double sided tape on and put them back on. Put tailgate in different spot, left some badges off and put the SR5 badge in a new spot.

Nah, There was only the one that was on the tailgate. The other badges that I have are the ones that say V6 and Toyota and I wasn't sure about putting the V6 on the other side......the antenae is right there.

What brand name was the adhesion promoter? Did you sand first?

Very nice. I like the fact that the SR5 is only on the driver's side. Very unique.

plastikote I believe. No sanding. The adhesion promoter actually changes the surface of the plastic to make the paint stick better. It was kin of cool to watch the chemical reaction (Don't breathe that stuff in....haha)

how did you cut the 3m tape out for the back of the decals?

did you use a hobby knife or just put some certain flat areas?
