I'm sure they'll be laying it down here all day today in between "rush hours". I washed and gased up my taco last night in preparation. Crazy that it can go from windows down cruising to a possible 8" of snow in a day or so. Sometimes I love the midwest for that, sometimes I hate it. Their bouncing between 3-6 and 8-12 depending on which source you look at and at what time you look at them.

These temp swings are brutal. 50 degrees followed by 0 the next day. Then back up to 34 and snowing.

last year we didn’t hardly get any snow until we got like a foot overnight.. then again the next day. Then was the -50 windchills.

Yeah. It's exactly what I'm afraid of is about to happen. Bleh..... At least this year I have remote start and heated seats. I'm kind of excited to go play around in the snow Saturday though. My mom wants to take my daughter for an overnight and the wife works on Saturday. So I may have some time to myself to go and play a little.

Traditionally we get hit by it at least once a year and it doesn't last long. Last year it stuck around. Also, it was SUPER mild all winter and then just BAM clippered. Then it sat on us for like a week straight. Then we were alright and then it hit us again and, IIRC, stuck around for like two weeks. Then it was just "Normal February" cold until late March. Made it brutal. Also, we set records last year. But you should know all this given the fact that you're in the same boat. You talk about it as if you are in Florida or something.

Luckily we are all apparently penguins now, so it'll be easier to deal with.

Seems like it only takes me 30-45 minutes to get used to the cold when I'm out working in it. I never get used to the heat and humidity when I'm unlucky enough to be out in it. Luckily my profession keeps me out of it most of the time. Which is nice....

I'm going to play with it, but quick question. What is your preferred MTS setting for snow? IIRC, there isn't a Ice/Snow setting.

I think the ticks that I picked up in December missed that memo.
