Yup. That was my 07 Tacoma and I was trying to sell it but it ended up being about a dozen people driving it, trying to lowball, and nobody buying. Ended up driving it a few more months before hitting a slick spot on the freeway in the rain and losing the back end. Paid out more than I was asking.

It wasn't worth my time then and it's definitely not worth my time now. With how bad people will lowball, you can get reasonably close being shrewd at a dealership.

That’s a good deal for the 4Runner and the trade value they quoted you for the Tacoma wasn’t terrible. I would have been fine doing that deal considering the tax savings here in Texas on trade. I’m not going to bother messing with private party selling in order to squeeze another 1-2k out of the sale.

With out seeing all the numbers of the deal. what someone got on trade in is irrelevant.

A buddy of mine just got one, I like it a lot. The new cluster and head unit are a big upgrade from the 2016 I drove. I also think the seats are more comfortable than the Tacoma - longer seat bottom. Enjoy it if you make the switch!

People posting their trade in values doesn't mean much without seeing what they paid for the new(er) car. The dealers are getting their numbers.

Edit: Once again slow to the party.. I see a poster above already covered this.
