Cant Decide on a Level

    I have a 2019 DCLB OR 4x4. Looking at either Fox 2.0 f&r set up or Bilstein 5100s f&r w/OME 884 or 885s coils. I am 90% on road except for them summer camping trips. I'm not looking to touch the rear leaf's at least for now so I just want a perfect level. The Fox 2.0 come with a 1inch preload or can be adjusted to 2in of lift. The 884s do an inch and the 885s are 1.5 inches of lift. Who has had experience in both? What's going to give me the better ride? Are the fox really worth the extra $300 bucks? 20200108_152657.jpg

    If you do 885s and nothing in the rear, you will not be level. At least in my case I wasn't. I added a 1" block after my rear was lower than the front when I had 885 coils on.

    5100 and OME are just fine. Will be a big improvement over stock.

    6112/5160 is ideal but several hundred more.

    My personal opinion on this, so take it for what it is, the time and or effort/money to install the shocks I wouldn't do anything less than 6112/5160, it just doesn't make sense to me.

    Well, I've owned multiple trucks with 5100 +OME. They handle great IMO. The 6112 is definitely better, but not astronomically.

    So the title implies level or not.

    I feel the rake adds to a more aggressive stance, better visibility and lead in when cornering.

    I would love to find a set of barley used TRD Pro shocks. But people want an arm and a leg for em.

    I'm torn between the Fox 2.0s or Bilstein 5100s... maybe 6112 and 5160 set up. Cant decide.
