Thats what I don’t want. I hate wet sticky heat.

I’ve actually gotten to the point where I don’t like macrobrews much anymore. I really only dig the micros. Good news about that is you don’t drink as much, bad news is way more calories usually lol.

Its not common for lifting to cause tennis elbow because.... well you shouldn’t be doing reps that fast lol. Unless you box or play racket sports.

Typically treatment is rest from activities that hurt it, heat, ice, and stretching your forearms. I like this one:

You can try taking an anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen or Naproxen 2-3 times a day for a few weeks.
With NSAIDs you have to take them for a couple of days to get the anti-inflammatory effect.

If its continuously bothering you see a PT. Figure out exactly what it is.
I know it costs money but I’d always rather spend $100 on a session and get back in the gym asap rather than screw around doing stuff for months that doesn’t help.

So my activity level the last few weeks has seriously dropped off. I’m doing maybe 40% of my normal activity right now. Stopped keto. Stopped IF. I’ve tried to keep my cals down but keep saying fuck it and over eat. I’m drinking again. 10 beers this week already.

Fall, winter, spring are awesome here. Summer sucks. No way around it. East TN is a little better due to the elevation, but not much.

I may be very limited in where I can move because I want a state job so I will more than likely have to live near the capitol city of each state.

I want WI because its close to family and I love WI. TN is further from family than I want but also my family may move further south.
I really want to move someplace that gets amazing winters. Like lots of snow and winter sports.

If you could pick up Lake Tahoe and move it to the midwest, thats what I want. All the summer things and all the winter things in one place.

WI has some skiing and stuff up north and Madison has Lake Mendota... you know if my house budget was $1.5mil...

was that with two hands? try one handed? or add weight? You can also mix together pull ups, slow negative pullups, L-Sits, and hangs to make for a harder experience. or do all of these things with rings instead of a bar.

I wonder how well you could have done on American Gladiators Hang Tough event:

Gah damn lol. Worked out with my wife’s friends husband today. It’s weird working out with someone who has totally different workout routines. He liked to do 12-15 reps while I like the 6-8 lol fucking wore me out.

My back/ribs were bothering me a bit today so I opted to walk 5k instead of run today.
If I feel good tomorrow I’m going for a 10 miler.
Its going to be rainy which means it will be done on a TM :|

Fuck that, I hate lifting with people. It ends up being more time spent changing out weights or changing my program to meet their needs. All it does is slow me down and make my workout shit

I find myself in the gym longer when lifting with someone else. I enjoy lifting by myself but a spotter is nice every now and then.

DL 405 again this morning, matching my previous PR. Happy I got it up, but in the end, it wasn't was I was aiming for. Was looking for another 10 lbs at least, but not too shabby for 2x bodyweight. Looking forward to starting 5/3/1 on monday.

I have never actually worked out with someone(for years) until today. It was fun. I definitely do not want to do it a lot as I completely agree on the fucks up your routine thing. The dude is gonna do legs with me tomorrow and I promise he isn’t gonna want to workout with me again after it  he’s moving at my pace and my reps. So we will see.

i agree too that it was nice to have someone to help with the last rep. Where as I normally would quit, he helped me get one more rep. Does it really make a difference? Idk. It was fun tho
