    no, not really.

well, I am getting that funky ass intermittent shut off at op temp and go to start a moment or two later and it starts but then dies immediately. idle rough and have to feather the gas pedal to keep it running. this is very intermittent and rarely happens. i think the consensus is possible leaking fuel injector(s).

This was different. The sound was like a ticking or loose something noise? pulley? some bearing somewhere? I don't know. Weird though. Since it seemed like it was coming from the front belt area, why I was asking about timing belt.

I used to be one of those people that got OCD about gas pump shutoff numbers and always topped off to a whole gallon number without any decimals. No idea how I never damaged anything in my previous cars. I broke the habit with the Tacoma though, once the pump shuts off its done

Nope. Haven't done that in years. 1st click, done.

What is a high priority on the list, I really need to get that AFR sensor flange replaced. That clamp on there is holding and its not leaking enough to throw a code but I can definitely smell an exhaust leak. Wonder how much that is going to run. Feel like its one thing after another lately with this thing.

Leaking injectors typically have a hard time starting after a vehicle is warm and sat for 10 or so minutes

My truck had a weird issue where it would run fine, give it half to full throttle and then come to a stop and it would die. But fire right back up. Put the headers on and the problem went away.. never figured it out.

What you need to do is plug into a scan tool and see what your fuel trims look like

I bet if you drove one of our Tacomas over that it would rust into thin air before you got halfway across
