Big sad for this one. Grew up on Rush and still love it to this day, nothing quite like them. RIP to the best to ever do it

    Fuck Brain Cancer.

What a loss. I can't imagine what he and his family went through nearing the end. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Some of the best rock groups are trios. It always amazes me how much sound, melody and poetry can come from just 3. He was 1/3 of one of the greatest.

    RIP

Good one...There are just SO many good choices here, huh? I grew up with these guys, too. I started listening to them in 7th grade and can look back on a lot of my life since then and their music just "fits" in there. They were (and are) truly a part of my life. So glad I got to see them as many times as I did. My first concert was in 1984 and I have seen them about 35 times. Just got to meet Geddy recently which makes it bittersweet.

So sad for this. Neil was one of my idols growing, but sadly I never got to see Rush live. :(

Wow, bummer. If you were fortunate enough to grow up in the late 60s to the 80s, you were witness to the high water mark for rock music, IMHO. RIP Neil.

Simply the best drummer ever. Also wrote lyrics for most of Rushs songs. Amazing man. I saw them in Cleveland during the Roll the Bones tour. He will be missed.

There is a documentary about Rush on Netflix that is awesome. I just finished watching it when I learned about Neal. It is so sad to see him go. Im from the Cleveland area and remember WMMS playing Working Man on the radio before anyone knew who they were.
