    Yes that is the case

the frustration is when it kicks to high pressure mode suddenly our port injectors are 125cc bigger.

But the damn fuel system design makes it so bank 1 sees this pressure first, which causes a momentary shit rich condition until pressure stabilizes on both banks.

    Genuis design....

My '05 STi had variable speed fuel pump and an asymmetric fuel flow design. The pump speed thing keeps the noise down and makes the pump last longer. The only issue I had with it was when I had a torn injector o-ring and the symptom was a vacuum leak at start-up while the pump speed was at max for a few seconds and ran like crap. The lines flexed enough to make the tear leak more. Took forever to troubleshoot but an ultrasonic leak detector found it instantly.

The flow thing sucks. I changed out my fuel line routing and used new rails to make it symmetrical.

Wow.... It's worth removing that even if it means the pump has to be upgraded...

    Pic.
Some of the vacuum lines (specifically red ones) you see are not how it's setup. I have this to tap 2 different spots on the intake manifold for boost reference for the dyno.

I'm still considering how I want the intake done. So this is not final intake.

The hotpipe setup actually fits really nicely.

(All of this is part of test kit not finished Fab pieces though)

I will have really detailed pics when it's all done.

Yeah, that too. I notice you're just using Pods for testing I assume. I think you were planning to use the stock airbox for the final setup if I remember correctly.

Yes I want to try pre turbo Maf and blow through Maf.

Our trucks Maf sensors are frequency based and don't act at all like voltage / hot wire based.
    There's almost no difference.

I am curious how many people wouldn't mind dual intakes vs must have / use stock airbox?

I doubt other than people with smog issues
Nobody will care to ditch the factory air box

but two air boxes might be a issue

A single high flow dobbson filter (sp?) might be better for space and flow

Honestly, I think bare pod filters looks half-assed. I like the "sleeper" look of keeping the stock airbox. If you could offer it as an option (I don't think it would be that difficult to have an alternate airbox delete option), you would be able to make more people happy. But that's just my opinion.

they have massive airflow and are what is used in a large majority of farm equipment and diesel motors

they are also used in service vehicles in the deep desert and in some prerunners and race trucks

they have a great reputation in both massive air flow, great filtration and self cleaning as well as being hydrophobic

These pod filters are just what I had on hand to test blow through. I have a whole different intake design that goes up over the intake manifold back to the stock airbox. That was used on the base kit

    Oh yeah
This is definitely what I was suggesting
Let me find you a picture
They make one that looks like a factory air box

No, I completely understand that's your test setup. I was just saying, trying to keep an OEM look for a lot of people would be appealing.
