Great negotiating skills! That’s a huge $5,902 discount, a little over 13.5% off the MSRP.

The time of year helped (I bought it on 1/2/2020) and also the fact the truck had been on the lot for 33 days (since early December) so they probably had incentive to move it while there was still holdback available. Plus, Toyota's rebates to me totaled $1750 all by themselves. Who knows what other discounts were happening between Toyota and the dealer behind the scenes. I think I got a good deal and the dealer sure wasn't frowning.

Just as an interesting data point, I got an identical truck/options in DC for basically the exact same price a month ago. For M/T buyers, looks like there’s savings to be had...

Any idea when the new rebates will be announced? December sales overall were down 6% so Im thinking incentives might be better soon.

I saw this morning it was $750 to manufacture to consumer. Was $500 yesterday.

    2019 models have $1750

Nice yours increased. Incentives are local/regional though. What region are you located in? I saw $500 last month and nothing is showing today on Toyota's site for central NC.

Edit: Still no cash incentive but noticed 60mo financing is now 0.9% vs 1.9% last month. So was: 60mo @ 1.9% with $500 incentive, now 60mo @ 0.9% with no incentive.

Looks like they went down for Nevada. Was 1,750 rebate, now 1,250. Rates didnt change though it seems like the lease numbers went down. Not sure though.

    I'm in California.
I'm seeing these incentives through costco car buying.

Not a Costco member, but just checked and it let me view incentives as a last step before asking for member #. They are $500 cash for 2019 and 2020 (central NC).

When I bought my truck, I asked about the $1750 in rebates since their web site was only advertising $1250. I was told the additional $500 was an extra incentive for the month of December 2019 which was valid through 1/2/2020. Looking now at their web page inventory, no Toyota rebates are listed at all. It's my guess they'll be back in a couple of months. Last year, I was seeing the $1250 rebate advertised around April.

Your local dealer wont always have the updated rebates. You need to go to toyota.com, put in your zip code and go to local specials. Then narrow it down to tacoma

Up to $1,000 on a 2020 now in the Portland, OR area. Hasn't been above $750 for a while.

Hello all, I am a new member to Tacomaworld and this is my 1st post. My friend directed me to this site when I expressed interest in buying a Tacoma.

Is a 2020 Tacoma for $37,370 a good price? (40k-ish after taxes, etc). I will sell my old truck individually so no trade-in. I'm not factoring in down payment yet either.

go to the prices paid forum, it does vary by region. Your price is too high. You can find the invoice price on car gurus and offer 1k below invoice price at a minimum.

Most 2020 buyers here are getting 10-12% off MSRP. Some better some worse. At 10-12% the sales price should be 33,750 to 34,500. I would offer them 33,500. They will counter.

People need to include if 4x4 or 4x2. Makes a big difference.
