When they say it's a good size, it's just a nice way of saying it's small

Do you have 16 inch wheels? I had 285/70R16s (32x11.5") and they didn't kill my MPGs too badly. I lost 2 mpg over stock. And yeah I'm getting 14 haha. I also have a manual and like to keep it in the power band though so that doesn't help. Mine are roughly 33x12.2 on a 16 inch wheel.

If MPGs are your concern, then they're too big.

The smaller the tire, the more impressed people are when you make it through somewhere.

My coworkers clapped when I made it into the parking lot on my 235/75/15s.

Its not horrible but they do look a little small for the wheel well.. You could up maybe 2"

Take the lift off and the tires are fine.

I'd like to go 235/85/16 or 235/80/17 at some point.

I spent a few summers driving a 3/4 ton with that size in the Maxxis 753 and it was great. The extra width to me is just not worth it.

I've been daily driving Corvettes (still own 2) for many years; the wider tire just likes to pull hard one way or the other on unimproved, or really messed up roads.

I think your truck looks good! My truck had big heavy mud tires when I bought it. When they wore out, I switched to a stock size AT tire. It felt like my truck gained about 50 HP!

Just emphasizing my "like" for skinnier tires.

It’s a cute truck, they aren’t too small at all.

But do you find yourself constantly scraping your frame or suspension on rocks, or can’t get up and over obstacles? If so, yes they’re too small.

Do all your bro friends have bigger tires and it’s making you jealous? Just remember, they’re more than likely compensating for...

...skills (among other thigs, lol). Ive seen plenty of dudes drive the Rubicon on 33s. Hell, you could do it on 31s if you’re adventurous.

I love this size tire, your not alone, you get more power and torque
with the stock 15” wheels and they weigh less and wear fantastic and cost less,
    And handle better probably
