Thats the way to go... I'm thinking about picking up another set, taking my time tinting them a little lighter, then selling the ones on my truck now.

I will sell mine once/if I get my hands on a set of '09 LED tails like Scottie did. But no way do I have any desire to try and make $ doing them regularly... Waiting for the 1st guy to send me his stock lights so I can tint them and send them to the 2nd guy whos been waiting for over a month, and trashing my name all over the internet and emailing me every 3 minutes...:( No thanks!!!

Besides, with all the projects and mods I have going (all at once ofcourse), and as much of a perfectionist as I am (perfectionist = slow) I'd loose money!!!

Yes I do ;). Your so worried about each and every aspect of every single project being perfect, that a 2 hour mod takes you over 2 days...

The worst part is, when its done, no matter how perfect others think it is, you can always instantly point out a flaw that would have gone un noticed by 300 others!

I think we need to name this illness, as obviously treatment for the disease is impossible until we get beyond the "denial" stage...

How about, "PMS" for Perfectionist mod syndrom, or
"STD" for Severely Time Deficient, how about
"CUNT" CANT UNDERSTAND why im NOT done on TIME?

    Well, here we go...

This is the email I sent this morning...

    tail lights

    Sunday, October 26, 2008 10:43 AM

    From:
    "Craig"

    To:
    ALEX

    Alex,

After numerous promises, I have still not received the tail lights I paid for months ago. Paypal apparently awarded me the $26 you had in the account, but that leaves me out somewhere around $165.00.

I have since tinted my own tails, and am looking for my refund. Not just because its my money, but after all this BS, quit honestly I've earned it.

Please advise me as to your intent. If other "issues" prevent you from refunding my money through Paypal, I have no problem accepting a money order, and canceling the Paypal claim to clear your record.

I have been beyond patient, and am the last person to deserve this treatment from you.

I would like to remind you that I too live in Florida, less then a few hours from you. I am in Orlando / Melbourne area quit frequently for work, as well as to visit family and friends as I lived in central/eastern Florida for many years.

After all the stress and crap I have been through over this ordeal, I am not beyond just showing up at your house or job (I now have both addresses).

I am not threatening you by any means (at least not yet), but this economy (especially in the construction industry) is having an effect on many of us, and I could really use that money now. When you needed patience and understanding while dealing with your issues at home, I now expect the same.

This email is the first step of resolving this issue, and getting my refund.

The second will be phone calls, to your cell, employer, etc. I will post your cell and work number on every website I can find, as ask everyone to call repeatedly and often. While cell numbers can be changed, work numbers are a little more difficult.

The third will be a visit, either to work or home depending on the timing of my next trip up that way. I will either leave with my money, the satisfaction of revenge or payback (by any means available), or in a cop car.

Please treat me with the same respect I did you when you needed it, and respond so we can work out a solution. Its in both of our interest to resolve this amicably, and avoid any unnecessary confrontation.

    Thanks,

    Craig

Hey craig I have been throught a lot of shit in the past 4 months I am now in the process of forclosure I got laid off from my job along with 30 other employee's I have no money to even put gas in my truck which I am also selling...I spent a shit load of money buying back the things my home insurance did not cover which was all the money I had in savings and then some so I dont have any money to give you right now I am still unemployed as we speak...Dont be stupid and go and show up at my house...you just sent me all the proof I need to report you as a threat to law enforcment/// and that last email as much as you think is not a threat it clearly is! I printed it and showed it to my next door neighbor who happens to be a veteran Orange County Police officer..he is aware of your threats and will be keeping an eye out on my house since he works the late shift he is home all day...if you pass by my house you will see his patrol car right next to my house....so I strongly advise you not to do something that stupid cause you will end up paying heavily for it! When I get some money that I can spare I will send it your way unless you go and try some stupid shit...

    Alex,

And finally the response I just sent...

    Alex,

No, I didn't threaten you. And as long as you are not simply skipping out on your responsibility here, there is no need to even discuss "what if"...

If your an honest or even fair person, then you are aware of what you have put me through, and how long I was understanding and patient. As I have said many times to you, as long as you keep in contact, and make some kind of effort here, I can continue to be both understanding and patient.

You have lied to me more then once. I think while your discussing things with your neighbor, you should fill him in on ALL the details, and the fact that you have cheated others besides me! Now I know when a website or business is guilty of similar action (across state lines) via the internet, its taken pretty seriously... while I honestly don't pretend to know the specifics when its an individual (like this)..I promise I will find out.

Atleast 3 people that I'm aware of have filed Paypal claims which will hold up in court as evidence by the way, and emails for the most part don't(my brothers a criminal lawyer who practices in Volusia County [IMG] ).

Just send me my money. If its $10 a week via money order, just send it. Make an effort, and save the stories. You may telling the truth, but given your track record, I'm sure you'll understand if I don't bite...

You know how they talk about the "nice, quiet" guys being the ones that snap? Well, I think that happens because treating people with respect while they shit on you takes allot out of someone...anyone.

When people like that "snap", they aren't concerned at all about consequences, period.

Now your going to take that as a threat, but in fact its meant to simply say that while some people snap immediately, and let things fly, others try to remain "cool" longer then maybe they should. I know in the past I've been guilty of doing both, but lately have made considerable efforts to be more patient of others, as we all have faults. Admit yours, and lets move on.

You may not be a bad guy, maybe just someone who has had some real bad luck lately. I hope that is the case, but had you posted something on the site simply stating that you were going through some shit, but would (as soon as possible) make things right, it would have gone a LONG way!! Even if you posted once a week for 6 months (just to let everyone know you havent forgotten) until you could make things right.

If you don't like all the "bashing" you've been getting, then don't avoid the situation the way you have!!! No one is giving you the benefit of the doubt, because you've RAN from the whole think rather then "man-up", take your "licks", and deal with things!

You've said in the past, "I have no time, since I've just changed jobs.....", well let me just say, when your dealing with other peoples money, you should feel obligated, and even guilty enough about it to make time!!! But...now that your laid off, you have plenty of time...right?

Just do the right thing, and fulfill your obligation. When I have the money, I will keep my word and cancel the Paypal claim, so you don't have to deal with it later. I've made my share of mistakes in life, and maybe even now by "venting" via email [IMG], but I keep my word. Do the same, and we're okay...really.

    Thanks,

    Craig

Wow! I'm at a loss for words right now. Really dumbfounded on how someone can avoid responsibility, especially for that amount of time, and ask for a break! Are you serious? I even defended the guy but it's gotten to the point where enough is enough and handle your shiv. High school kids avoid and run from their problems and taddle to the teacher that they might get their butt kicked, which they probably deserved, but this is ricockulous. Grow up and handle your shiv like an adult, man up admit your mistakes and fix your wrongdoings........or you could run to your neighbor and put out APB's on Tacomas with tinted tails in your area. Whichever way you want to handle it.

On a side note when you want to dump those tails hit me up cause they're gorgeous and quite frankly better then his anyway! I've been watching this stroy unfold on a few different forums and let me commend you on the way you are handeling it. Kudos for you cause i don't think i could be as nice or understanding while being raped. Good Luck and I'll be pulling for you

Thanks for the props, really. I guess after the 2nd person filed a Paypal claim, and then GEN received his tails all screwed up, I pretty much knew I was next... I really struggled to hold my tongue, as "going off" pretty much guaranteed me no chance of restitution.

Now here I am again... Do I snap, and risk Barney Fife, the elderly Mayberry sheriff, chasing me down in his golf cart (which is waiting for the tinted lights he paid Alex for 16 years ago)?

Or, do I hold on, pester the guy once a week, and hope that eventually he sends some $?

I didnt post his latest response, as it was a 1 liner basically saying, " When I have it, I'll send you the money." Now I'm sorry, but if someone wrote me an email like the last one I sent him, I just don't think I could just respond quit like that...but thats just me.

As far as my tails, I'll remember to pm you once I figure out the deal with these '09's. Scottie said they are LED's, which is cool, but I haven't researched yet to find out what (if any) wiring is involved. Not that I care, just like to know what projects I'm getting into before I..get into them.

He hasnt been on in a few days, and Im curious how he turned out.

    Craig,
Well it never ceases to amaze me that Alex has an excuse for everything, he is a typical habitual liar. You would think that now that he is unemployed he would have plenty of time to do your lights but I'm sure he has an excuse as to why he can't. All I can say is What A Piece of Shit he is, his day will come. I will make sure that he never sells another thing on any of the sites I frequent and will make sure the word it put out. I still haven't had the chance to take a pic of my '09 tails but will by the end of the week and send you them. They are just plug and play, pull out the old ones and plug in the new ones to the same harness. Some people don't like them and I wasn't sure if I would when I first put them on but they grow on you and I'm liking them now.

Yeah, I know hes dicking me around, but by keeping my cool I have already collected about $30 of my money... If I dont see more $ soon, I will have no other choice but pay him a visit.

Jail sucks (especially during the holidays), and with my....background....there is no doubt I will be held. :pout:

That being said, I have no doubt that this guy is pussy enough (especially after speaking with him via phone) to have really asked his neighbors etc. to "Keep a look out for the mean man driving the bright red truck, cuz bright red is the coor of SATIN, and SATIN is BAD".:spy:

If he has said or written anything truthfull, its that he probably has already spoke with his neighbors...

I will ring his phone off the hook this weekend until I get through, and will try to get some $ before going "Rocky" on his ass!:boom:

Its amazing how people change as they get older. 10-years ago (when I was in my mid 20's) I wouldnt have thought twice about taking a bat to someones head over $15...lol. I dont know why I find that amusing, maybe because its true?
