I have an '06 with 2.5" lift, and the front tire is rubbing. Also, the whole truck has that lower-in-the-front look, which in my opinion isn't too great. I've heard a leveling kit is the way to go to fix these problems?

If you already have a 2.5" lift, you have a leveling kit essentially. You can't stack lifts. The only way to truly get rid of rubbing is to godown a tire size or to cut what it's rubbing on. What size tires do you have?

Can you post some pictures of the truck as a whole as well as the suspension, front and rear?

Ok, that's a decent rake. What do you have for the front and rear lift?

I'd assume your bumper may have something to do with your rake. Esp. of there's a winch in there.

There are some extra heavy leaf springs in the rear, for the weight of the bed cap. Could that be lifting the rear end more?

Possibly, but he's also got a rear bumper and a shell to add a few hundred pounds in the back too.

OP, we really just need to see pictures of the front and rear suspension to know what to suggest. Don't want to point you in the wrong direction.

Yeah for sure, aftermarket leaf packs usually give 2 to 2.5 inches of lift.

Hopefully we can figure it out tomorrow. The problem with raising the front too much is you can start blowing CV boots.

True.... i don't want to raise it any more than enough to get it level.

Yeah, we'll have to see how much the front's actually lifted with the bumper and all.

Maybe removing a leaf in the rear might be a better solution than trying to raise the front.

have you measured front and back, center of hub up to fender? Then you will know what you need for lifts to level out your truck.
