No Diff Lock on TRD Offroad Package?

Hey yall, just got a 2010 2wd Prerunner SR5 TRD Offroad and am suprised to find out theres no diff lock on it. Im not too sure what the TRD package is even including at this point if i aint got a locker. Anyone elses like this?

Also: how much to install and where to buy?

 

I think you bought an SR5 with an off road sticker slapped on it. The TRD off-road pre runner came with a locker. Take a few pics of the truck and post it up here.

 

Are you sure? TRD OR should all have diff lock, including 2wd. My dad has a 2010 prerunner TRD OR and has it

Looks like an SR5 with TRD sport wheels and off road sticker. If your not happy with the truck get your money back.

Is that the NASCAR Rusty Wallis? If so blast it for not knowing what they have. I bet he won’t like that. As far as I know all TRD OR have a rear locker. My two previous ones did.

 

If they mess with you park that bitch out front and hold a sign telling people they sold you on false advertisement.

 

They didn’t make a DCLB TRD OR until 2016. It’s an SR5 with stickers

Google Toyota vin decoder and punch in the Vin the build sheet will tell you.
But think you got screwed.
Id read thru the fine print and see of there is a return clause.

 

either way its a great truck with low miles at a decent price. not gonna worry about it. stickers sure did get me tho.

 

You can always install and air locker or e locker. But your in Texas and it’s a 4x2 so it’s all good. I would ditch those lights though lol

 

Did they advertise it as a TRD off road or did you just assume bc you saw the sticker?

 

This is a simple one. If on your paperwork it shows as a TRD OR and they advertised as the same. Even if they didn’t know. Imo contract would be void since what it shows your bought and what you actually received are not the same voiding the contract. But if really like it keep. Plus it was a great deal, maybe even sell for more than you paid for it. Good luck.
