    Hey All

I have a quick question. I have a 2017 Taco TRD Off-road. I took it in for a rear end whine and of all things they said they replaced the rear leaf springs. I figure this was to transfer some of the weight off the rear axle. Hack fix if you ask me. Anyways it came back from the dealership about another 1.5” higher in the rear. Originally it was close to level now it looks like it needs to be leveled.

My question is does this leaf pack look normal or does it look like that added an AAL? How many springs do you have in your rear pack. Please advise as I’m installing an Icon 1.5” AAL tomorrow and need to know if I need it remove a leaf.

    thanks in advance!

That looks stock. Three ride springs, and the bottom overload. BTW, your AAL goes above the very bottom one if yah didn’t know.

Why would they replace your springs with rusted springs? Are you sure they swapped them?

only if you don’t plan on hauling much, or towing. You’ll also have to work out a support for your brake cable to keep it out of the wheel.
