Anybody using a screen protector on the touch screen? I thought about getting a Zagg screen protector for mine. Hopefully they’re not prone to scratches.

I got a cheap one off eBay. It was a glass sheet have to be very careful not to bend it or it will break. Went on pretty easy took about 2 weeks before all the bubbles finally went away but I’m happy with it.

Nope unless you have dirt on your fingers nothing will get scratched. It's not like it goes in and out of a pocket like a cell phone.

I think I’ve seen some people buy a sheet and trim to fit

Zagg makes one to fit an iPad, two sizes actually. They’re $50 though. My radio on my 2012 Tacoma got scratched just from me using my thumb to wipe dust off of it.

To clean use a eyeglass cleaning cloth, you can get one from Walmart or Target for a couple of bucks and you won't have any scratch issues.

Amazon has one that I bought when I first got the truck. It was cheap and it works. Still a couple bubbles and it glares a bit, but have never worried about the screen getting scratched. As mentioned, there are more expensive options out there, but to me it wasn't worth it. If i can find it, i'll post the link

i thought mine was too bright, even on the lowest setting. very distracting at night. i cut a piece of window tint, and applied that. works well for both dimming, and protecting. your results may vary. Ski

I bought one for glare rather than scratches. The stock screen seem to reflect everything to me, that I had to move my head around just to see certain parts of the screen. The screen protector I opted for, had a bit of a matte finish, and ended up being the perfect solution. Now I can see the screen with very minimal reflection.
