These arrived this morning, I must say I am impressed with the packaging thoughtfulness. Real metal, real 3M tape. Just have to decide if I want to do everything at the same time (dip/replace the bumper cover, flares; replace/cover the chrome emblems).

For the first time in six months, I actually have time to install the suspension that has been sitting and waiting to go on my truck.

    Aloha just installed a Bilstein lift on my 2018 TRD OR , 6112 (2 1/2" 5th and 6th notch) up front and 5160 w/Dever AAL (1 1/2") in back.
Also installed a carrier drop kit

Installed by myself with the help of my 85 year old dad and my son ( 3 generations on a 3rd generation Tacoma Maybe a first )

Next tires going with Falken's 265/75/16

Question should I install a diff drop?

Nice work. I have the same setup for now. Skip the diff drop. IMO they do more harm than good by putting a weird angle on your front driveshaft/pinion bearing.

Looks good. Where'd ya find the matte black overlays?
All I could find were chrome ones so I sanded and painted my own with the matte black. So far they're holding up well.

Great article. I guess it is all relative. My annual federal tax payment far exceeds my California
taxpayer debt noted in the article you linked. Being a few months of my federal tax burden fully pays off my unit California debt to take care of all future unfounded pensions, etc. just doesn’t seem overly burdensome. Anyone critical of California debt must be except acceptionally concerned with the current path of federal debt.

The California custom license plate is fully our choice. If you like it, have it. If not, don’t. Pretty easy.

Everyone should live where they want. I do. You should too. Where are you heading?

I don’t even get the point of this post especially since you liked mine? Lmfao...

“everyone should live where they want do.” Duh... problem is bud, not everyone is BORN where they want to live - I didn’t move here aha. Maybe you missed the part about buying property out of state - I fully intend to live where I want to once my house is built.

Appreciate the obvious though.....I think we are all aware of our choices we have lol. Doesn’t mean I can’t vent a little about how dumb some things are. You also didn’t have to read my post OR reply, but here ya are...

    Irony.
