That's the thing that worries me haha, Harley is a cuddly lovebug but he also plays rough, and I've always encouraged it...not thinking I might have a baby one day and that might not be such a good idea lol. He's totally cool with her now, sits right beside my wife while she nurses the baby and goes about the day like she's been here all along. But when she gets old enough to torment him like toddlers love to do to cats, I'll have to supervise closely until our daughter knows the right boundaries with pets

My mom has a photo of 3 year old me with two fang marks on my cheek from when our household calico cat Tonna bit me square on the face after I pulled on her tail lol.

Hate to say it but that’s how we learn that every action in life creates a reaction. Torment the cat and get scratched or bitten. Treat the cat with love and respect you’ll probably still get scratched or bitten but you’ve got a friend for life. Sometimes we just have to learn the hard way. You can raise your kid telling them “ don’t touch it’s hot” but they don’t really learn what hot is until they get burnt. All this coming from a guy with not human kids and who drank liquid ant poison and subsequent hospital visits- multiple times. Im sure my parents probably told me many times “don’t drink the stuff in the green bottle or you’ll die”. Joking aside, hoping the time with the baby are the best of you lives and each day is better than the last.

Twice here too. Both C sections. I’ve seen a lot of my wife’s insides. Oddly enough it’s the incision that makes me queasy, the rest I find fascinating.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, sounds like he is being protective of her.

I don't get phased by blood at all but yeah, a C section would have put that to the test lol.

They showed us her placenta after it was delivered and I had a hard time looking at that lol.

We gotta pump up the numbers here. Dog thread has 1250+ pages and this only has 461.

Bring home a rotisserie chicken and she’s at my feet meowing away. She’s like “I smell it, I SMELL IT!!! Share Hooman!!!”

    (Harley and Mai Thai)

It's kind of funny, since we brought the baby home on Tuesday they've both bonded more with one another. They've always tolerated each other but lately now they actually sit next to and up against one another

It may be Harley and Mai Thai way of getting more of your attention by doubling up, after having more competition from Sofia.
