And yes, I read many times here and heard on TV many times people bitch and cry questioning how Clemson gets in the playoff due to their regular season schedule, looking for ways to talk them out of an opportunity.
He's not wrong.

Can't really argue against that either, except that's really what this article is trying to accomplish:
"The location of this year’s title game was decided a few years ago, of course, and it is just a coincidence that LSU happened to make it to the game this year."

Coach O said “we will play anybody, anywhere” prior to the Oklahoma game. Dabo doesn’t seem to feel the same.

So let's not discuss if any team should have such a huge home field advantage for the championship game, or bring up anything that would make for a level plying field to decide who the better team is.

You can't deny there is a huge advantage for LSU in this.

 

Florida played Oklahoma in Miami, UGA played bama in Atlanta, LSU’s last NC was in NO as well... I’m sure there’s more but that’s just off the top of my head. Bound to happen with about 4/5 venues in the south and majority of the recent championships were with at least 1 team from the south

 

He said “we will play anyone anywhere” actually. And we’ve all heard Dabo use the poor lil Clemson talk all season and post season. Don’t defend the whining too much when you know it’s a combination. It’s not espn sec glasses. Dabo is playing the only card he has.

 

I've not seen it as whining, I've seen it as calling people out. Unfortunately, he's had to do it too much this season.
Coach Swinney has echoed my thoughts all season, so you're not going to convince me that I'm wrong.

Clemson is the only team coming into this game with any resemblance of a defense, both have great offenses and I'll tip my hat to LSU's TE as an advantage. If LSU goes up on Clemson, no worries but if Clemson goes up on LSU by 9 or more at any point of the game LSU will go flat from the emotional swing. I feel great about the game.

Coach Venables will confuse LSU's QB like Auburn did them with their safety play and he has done time again with others.
