    1) You think I’m bitter because I chose to invest my financial future OUTSIDE of a state that is destined to ruin itself economically and somehow that magically means I have “shortcomings”? Oh boy..

    2) That’s an awfully presumptuous Roseville comment considering you live in EDH. Actually, it’s downright ironic aha.

Don’t make it personal bud, some people just choose to make their money go MUCH further in other states.

oh FYI - many more job opportunities across state lines but jobs that don’t pertain to the “list” you gave, because let’s face it - art degrees are worthless lol

    1) Considering the tone of your posts, yes lol
    2) Where did I say I live in EDH??

I'm not making it personal, I just pointed out your shitty opinion, keep it off Tacomaworld or start your own thread for other people who can't afford to live in their state

And just where might you call home? I am pretty sure you will not say and you well know that EVERY state has attributes that can be picked apart. No real point though! CA has issues like EVERY state in this (for now) Union. If there were a perfect place then everyone would live there.
I do wish California would separate into north and south (never happen because NorCal has all the water). I have traveled a lot around the US and CA has the more natural beauty than any other place I have been. Montana is a close #2.

I measured roughly 8.5-9 inches (too lazy to get any more accurate). From what I can see from online photos, it looks like the top of the tent will sit pretty even with the roof line. The ladder how ever sits above it.

Today I finally vacuumed the truck after a couple months of not doing so. Found even more glass from the break in over 2 years ago. What a day

Woke up. Had my morning coffee. Read a great joke about the state of the California economy. Took the taco and my beautiful wife to the river and went kayaking... In January.... In North Carolina! Caught a 10 pound striper for my efforts. Two beer job. 20200111_124045.jpg 20200111_124110.jpg 20200111_124132.jpg

I made some mounts to attach my shovel and ax to my bed's rail.
    Started out with some 1 3/8" X 1/16" flat stock. Cut to 9". Bent at 3" and 2 1/4"
    20200111_164137.jpg20200111_111758.jpg

I decided to "paint" the metal with Bondo Rubberized Undercoating. Pretty messy. Took a long time to dry, even though Maine was warm today at 55F. I think I would use a flat black spray paint if I did it again.
    20200111_160617.jpg 20200111_160907.jpg

Attached two on the driver's side, and 2 on the passenger's side. Put shovel and ax on.
    20200111_160118.jpg 20200111_161324.jpg

They seem to be attached securely. I thought the 1/16" stock might be flimsy. I don't believe they will bounce around at all.

    20200111_161549.jpg

Now I need to figure out a better way to secure the Plano box. Looks a little cheesy to me:rolleyes:
