ABS Sensor and Hub Assembly

    Does the abs sensor have to come out to remove the hub assembly?

    Because I just snapped mine in half (with half remaining inside the steering knuckle - looks to be seized in there)

    Really want to get the hub assembly done tonight, can deal with replacing the abs later if it's not going to be in the way.

    Too late! (Already put it all back together, do I even want to watch that video in the linked thread? Ignorance is bliss right?)
    Good news is, the piece that broke off fit right back into the piece it broke off of so I covered it in dielectric grease and bolted it right back on. ABS light didn't come on driving around the block so I'm good for now I guess. I will likely have to take the hub assembly out again to get the sensor out at some point but that's future Dan's problem.

    Not a huge deal..its just plastic. Drill a small hole, screw in a coarse thread screw, heat up the area (making the plastic only start to get soft) and hopefully pull it out. If not...watch the video :anonymous:
