I recently installed these tacomabeast/spyder headlights in my 2011. Is there anyway to shut off the yellow DTRL and just have the LED strip running? When the engine is off but in the on position the yellow DTRL is off and the LED is on. However, when the engine is running, the yellow DTRL is on and so is the LED. I did the fog light on all the time mod to see if that would help and it did not. Any suggestions? I did try searching the forums for this with no luck, so sorry in advance if there is already a post on this subject.
The first image is engine running, the second is engine in the on position but not running.

There is DRL mod thread on here. That I used on my Spyder headlights. Do the mod you will have turn signal only. It’s a little work but well worth it. I cut the proper wire then added extensions to be able to reconnect the OEM DRL if I ever need to with out having to go digging under the dash again. It’s a short harness you need to get at. I removed did the mod and replaced it. Much easier that doing it on my back under the dash. Good luck

If you had factory DRL’s you need to switch the relay to the non-DRL relay

Which relays are you talking about? Mind taking a pic and pointing them out?
