And look what that got you. A jacked up truck. I drive a lot and deal with the idiots all the time. I’ve learned just easier to let the idiot in. Thank gosh it wasn’t the crazy guy with gun, may not be writing the post.

Yup. Gotta learn these kinda lessons I guess. Like I said I was taking that turn as normal and the dude would have t-boned me if i didn't speed up to "not let him in". Can't really tell all that well from those photos but to go to the on-ramp from the right lane you basically have to go out straight and then make a super sharp turn and I was already making the turn

So it sounds like in person you let people walk all over you. I know you don't tolerate it online. Idk, seems kind of backwards to me but to each their own.

Never let someone invite you in to being stupid. It would have been a lot easier to let him in and move on with life. In the end he really showed him and now he gets the trouble of dealing with replacing his truck.

My favorite is: “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” - Mark Twain

    same applies to road rage.

Depending on where you are, there's a good shop on the South Shore I'd recommend. But yeah that's not cheap

Ok, makes more sense. I thought #3 was already in the lane you were entering, not in your same lane (and they clearly weren't paying attention as they were approaching stopped vehicles and not slowing).

I assure you, you wouldn’t want to find out. The point was sometimes it’s just not worth it. It’s not my truck that’s all fucked up.

You know who got fucked during this entire ordeal. Car #3. Poor driver, minding his own business and some guy jumps out in front of him because of some pure and simple road rage.

Could have been mich worse for you op. Probably looking at 15k total. Glad you weren't physically hurt

How does letting someone in equate to being walked over in life. He's right, it's better to let the idiots get there way, though damn it pisses me off letting them, ha.

See, I was correct that you don't tolerate it online - but at least you can take a joke well.

    You've answered your own question.
    Thank you for that.

It's one thing to let someone in but it's another thing to get cut off or aggressively encouraged to be let in by some impatient a-hole.

If the guy is crazy enough to pursue on the highway, letting him in on the ramp wouldn’t have been the end of it. He would have immediately brake checked you... speaking from experience unfortunately.
