FIDO, good acronym. I just read through those instructions. While I appreciate Matt making this available, I know my limitations.

Howdy folks! After braving the bootleg Techstream process and updating my '17 OR to 04B04, I was able to flash the 87 2.0 beta. I've driven about 500 miles on 2.0 so far. My truck has been tuned since 1.02 back in early 2018. Last tune I ran was 1.05.1 (fixed the low RPM shudder I had) 87 performance. I have to say 2.0 19800 is the best tune I have used thus far. It feels like driving a regular vehicle. Shifting is predictable, power is smooth, and my fuel econ is up a bit. Honestly if this was the final version I would be happy with it. I'll definitely be springing for a twin turbo kit, probably next year, but if I wasn't 23 and itching for mo' powa:muscleflexing:, I'd be perfectly content with this tune. Thank you Mat and OVTune for the continued hard work and dedication to your product and customers. I can't say I've ever dealt with any other company that continually provides free upgrades to their products.

Ive been running the 91 2.0 Performance on my 17 tacoma (04b04 like you) it is definitely alot of fun! I enjoy it. Huge game changer. So far ive done i think about 200-300 miles on it but i will be going to just 91 tune due to the fact its winter and icy etc. The tip in throttle etc is just honestly too aggressive for the winter driving! So ima see how 91 tune goes for it. Highway driving is amazing though with Performance. My little commute to my buddies farm i used to see 4th quite a bit. My truck didnt come out of 5th gear the entire time and im 255/85 Toyo Mts! My only big notice ive seen and i sent this to matt was on my Ultragauge reader I was watching my Torque Converter temp and it went from 88-90 Cel to 100 in about 3 seconds and i was barely on the gas. Ive seen it rise here n there very quickly but i believe this will be worked out on final 2.0!

Been out of the loop for a while and I don’t want to review 2,827 posts. Did the final 2.0 ever come out? Thanks!

Running 2.0 87 base. Installed some HID lights so I had to unplug the battery for a while. Guess it reset the learned values because man....this truck seems way more responsive and peppy now. Had about 2k miles on the tune. Anyway to keep this responsiveness? Or will I have to reset it again and again?

I wonder how long the ‘learning trims’ excitement will last. If long enough, put an inline battery disconnect in and flip it every few weeks for 10 minutes.

After using the 91FOB this for a month on a completely stock vehicle, and then switching to 265/75/16 KO2s and new rims... I am not sure that this will greatly help guys with larger tires

Before the new wheels, everything felt greatly improved and the tune was perfect.

after new wheels, the engine fells powerless and I lost around 2 MPG on the highway. I can only imagine what guys rolling around on 33s and 35s are dealing with.

I am basically at 31-32 inch wheels now and I feel negative difference even with OVtune, and I don’t like it.

This is on a MT vehicle with 4.3 gears too.

before I do anything else to my truck, I am putting new gears in. it’s an absolute necessity for this vehicle.
