Turn signals as DRL’s

    Hey so I’ve would like my turn signals to be DRL’s. What do I need to splice or wire up for that to happen!? I know the earlier 2ng gens came with this but I would like it too. Any help is appreciated...

    Daniel stern used to have these, I had a 01 dodge ram and the DRL module went out, his box converted the signal lights, worked awesome
    that was heck just about 10yrs ago,

    Ive wanted this on my 2009 aswell. Instead of doing the flasher and jumper install, im going to try what i did for my old first gen. Install a 3rd pin in the turn signal connector and run it to the parking light. Ill update if it works as it did in my first gen.

    That will sorta work. Doing it that way will result in the dim filament lighting only when the park lights or headlights are on. They will remain on when the turn signals are used, so it will go dim, bright, dim as opposed to the DRL way of bright, off, bright. You could wire the dim filament through a key switched relay to have the lights operate dim bright dim any time the key is on.

    You could have the DRLs function properly with the non DRL flasher using 3 relays, but at that point, it would be easier to just install the DRL flasher and harness.
