What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed a Fumoto valve today while doing the first oil change in over 30 years on any car. I did not trust the dealer not to mess it up so I got a recycling container and changed the oil. I used to change my own oil for the first 20 years of my driving. The problem was when my neighbor saw me dumping my oil in my front bushes and told me that I could get a big fine for that. Who Knew. Anyway, I will do it the right way now and recycle it. The Fumoto valve makes changing the oil so much easier now I may do it from now on. The picture is below and I bought it on Amazon.

 

I received my anytime camera module, camera for the front, and my SpartanX hood scoop light.... Promptly put them into the basement until it is warmer to install as I have no garage

my front and rear bora wheel spacers are both 1 inch thick.

 

Installed the cool guy raptor lights last night. Had to go off roading to make sure they didnt fall out of the grill.

 

Good to know 1” spacers fit in the rear. I had read that the studs on the rear were longer.

 

Finally got around to doing some things to the new Taco. Got 40/5 tint (Cali, so can't go too dark in the front). Tailgate inserts. Door sill protectors. Husky Shade came in. AVS Vent Shade. And screen protector. A 2020 Prius 8" screen protector works, for those that want one. Sorry for the weird angle on the husky shade lol.

All my local auto stores take the used oil. Just fill up your jug and drop it off.

I installed 1.25" wheel spacers from WheelTech. Only issue was I needed longer locking nuts because the OEM ones are too short.

With the factory OR wheels you could even use 3/4” if you needed, the back of the wheel is not flush. If you had aftermarket wheels 1 inch spacers are the smallest you can go without cutting the studs.

 

I installed 3/4" pipe wrap on the cross bars to tighten up the tonneau(helps water run off) and protect the bars when packing cargo in the box.

 

I’m jealous of quicksand. So easy to contrast it with black - looks great with the camper too!

Did the rear Kicker CSC67 speakers everyone raves about. It completes my speaker overhaul. I did the Kicker/Subaru tweeters, the CSC 6x9's upfront and the 6.75's in back. I've got an Alpine powered 8" subwoofer at the moment, but I think I'll ultimately get a dedicated 5 channel amp / sub combo to make everything really sing.
