Oh yeah sorry I wasnt implying you guys cheaped out...$5k is considerably more than what ours cost but she was new to the game (had a strong portfolio though). But for a seasoned pro $5k or even double that is expected depending on what they're providing.

Sucks he didn't follow through though, especially at that rate he should have been 100% sure he could hold up his end of the deal and if he wasn't, at the very least he should have communicated it with you guys better

Ok Mr Snap-On... ;) So just to be clear, you are correct (as are you @Speedytech7). I've always based this on Tim's video - which is where I looked back when the seal failed and again now.

The tacoma is different. Thanks to YotaDan I checked based on his pic at the top of the axle. Sure enough...

    upload_2020-1-11_23-45-42.jpg

I'll update the marketplace thread so no conflicting info.

Damn 3rd Gen 4Runners... so much the same, so much different.

The 01, 02, and the 04 axle I have have the tone rings. I know I wasn’t losing it

yeah... I did. Need to be clear so there isn't conflicting info out there and... I was wrong. I should probably tip my hat to tyler as well. My reply to him could/kind of reads as FU DUDE now that I look at it again. @BartMaster1234 - sorry buddy. Not intended. You can hook a shopping cart to my tacoma next time I'm at Costco.

why do you have 3 loose axles in your possession? Wait, probably shouldn't ask that.

My e-locker axle came from a truck without ABS. There’s the hole for the sensor. Albeit covered in duct tape.

@Uphillshunter Just for shits and grins can you look at that spot on your rear elocker axle, because if yours actually doesn't have the ABS blockoffs or ABS sensors, then it is literally one of a kind and might be worth a handsome sum from @Empty_Lord
