I’m thinking the 1st week is going to suck! I have been having such a problem and pain anytime I get sick that I’m kinda use to my throat hurting. They aren’t using stitches so I guess that’s good.

I’ll try and post up sometime when I’m done and awake. But I may not really be on for a few days.

Yes! The first week will be miserable. Just remember to drink as many fluids as possible around the clock for the first few days to keep from drying out your throat. I set an alarm at night every 30-40 minutes just to drink. Really helped a lot.

You are so right! My wife and I are the same! We met in college and knew almost right away that we were right for each other.

They didn’t stitch my boys either... not sure they do.... they cauterize. You have to be very careful not to clear your throat or anything that will loosen the clot back there or you will bleed again. Which is why my youngest had second surgery. My boys said even with their sore throats, this is worse so mentally prepare for that.

We met in a class I was teaching at work for new operating room nurses. We friended each other on FB and exchanged a comment or two. I actually asked her out on FB. We had our first date on my birthday and have been inseparable ever since! In April we celebrate 10 years together and 3 years married!
