Least Invasive Front Bumper for 2019

    Mostly aesthetic thus far
    Was hoping for some suggestions. Need options for TSS-friendly, minimally invasive winch/LED mount front bumpers, bars... I recently swapped my grill and now it's time to lose the traditional bull bar.
    I prefer NOT to cut on my new truck if possible.

    I really dig the low-profile/slimline style bumpers, personally. Southern style off-road has what I feel is the most attractive one, since they offer an add-on kit for corner bumpers as well. The add on kit does require cutting of the OE bumper cover, but allows more ground clearance and has similar styling to the OEM Colorado ZR2 bumper.

    My plan as of now is to shoot for the stage one, and then add the stage two corners as my needs, and my truck’s capabilities, evolve. The center section is winch and light bar compatible, and is available with or without the hoop up top, which doesn’t look like it should interfere with TSS witchcraft

    What does the inner fender look like after installing one of these types of bumpers? Does anybody have any pics from inside the front fender?

    Did you have to do any software changes when you added the bumper with the hoop? It looks like it adds maybe 6-8 inches to the front of your truck. Does the stop sensor take that into account? I can't imagine the dynamic cruise control would be impacted at much. The stop beep has happened to me a couple times, but don't think ive been within inches of hitting something.

    anything worth doing is worth doing right. CBI T3 Aluminum bumper or nothing. I would post a pic of my own truck , but the line I cut out of the stock plastic bumper looks terrible , which is not "doing it right".

    Get some of that edge trim w the cushion portion on it. Hides gaps well.

    Goddang is that thing beautiful but holy shit I just ran a quote. $1,825 powdercoated. That's just the metal, without any LED fog lights or light bar or winch included.

    I was going with the SSO Slimline until I saw how much cutting was required. Wish there was a little less surgery required but damn it looks good.

    Agreed. AVID probably has the least amount of bending/cutting. Victory 4x4 is the second least and only 2 small cuts. These both look very good IMHO and of course I chose the Blitz. The rest require a lot more cutting.

    Westin Bull bars are only options but they will interfere with TSS if you have that.

    It's not bad cutting the SSO, you literally just trim a strip of plastic on the bottom by an inch. You run a tape line across and use a dremel then cover the cut with supplied edge trimmer. I've installed two now, super easy.

    For a full normal bumper you simply cut the line just below the head lights around the fender flairs. The whole front End is 100% plastic. And not some hardened abs plastic or fiber reinforced plastic , like super soft plastic you would find used on thin frisbees. I guess for hitting pedestrians it’s nice but i would want all that bull shit off the truck so the tires can roll over things and not have any of the floppy plastic skirt scrape. X1000 for the rear bumper. Cheap brittle Christmas ornament chrome plastic shell and hangs wayyyy to low.

    Again , keep saving up your money and do it right once. CBI aluminum front , and CBI high clearance rear. Think of chopping off all that stock material like removing a wart
