we always had it at the homeplace. it was cool. jet comes over the ridge out of nowhere and you swear he brushed the treetops, down into the valley and gone. little while later here he comes again. actually did have one barrel roll over me when groundhog hunting the upper alfalfa field and on the trip back down the valley he waved at me:thumbsup:main issue now for locals is poultry houses i think.

Yeah and the kids aren't even back yet from Christmas break. That's always an interesting time as is after spring break when lots of them head overseas. Glad I am out of the dorms and in the academic side....

Where I hunt grouse in the Mn. Arrowhead and also phez hunt in SD are both MOA. Couple of years ago when I was grouse hunting had a pair of AF jet jockeys from the air wing out of Duluth right above me doing dogfights, it was pretty cool. Even though I had seen a lot of it on the carriers I was on before.

One year was walking across a field in SD with 3 other retired Navy guys and 4 retired AF pilots and a squadron out of Minot flew over us and broke the sound barrier. Almost all of them at the same time but it came at us in rolling waves. Don't recall who said it but about a minute later someone finally spoke up and said "that right there gentlemen is the sound of Freedom." Those were some really big birds.

    That is Awesome!

Except now I feel an urge to run into town and pick up some brats LOL.

"16 bars and they are all on one block in La Crosse." I have been to that block more than once. And maybe a couple of the bars. Heads up the Martini bar on that block is NOT what it once used to be, cheap liquor now or at least last time I was there a couple of years ago.

Loved the Brady wears shoes like a lady. As I sit here with boots on.

    Know any good walleye spots?

Sounds like a fun time , Awesome pics !!!!

    Ever seen a JATO assisted C130 ????

Out where I live there's NTC Ft Irwin and MAGCC 29 Palms Both Desert training Bases . I'm constantly see low flying Military Aircraft flying around as I'm directly under the Military flight path to these bases

A few months ago I heard the familiar sounds of Military Helicopters and walk outside . Not more than 200ft off the deck is seven Blackhawks flying in formation . You could see Soldiers sitting sideways in the open doors and all had rifles
