Dang. That sucks he's always working on it because it's always breaking :( Not something I want to be doing in the future. Yeah I can't wait to switch back to a Toyota! I'm getting more excited by the second just thinking about it! I agree, there are sooo many Jeep clubs. It would be so cool to start a Toyota club. I've been throwing the idea around for quite a while, but I want to get it going soon now. And that means I need to get a Tacoma asap! lol. I've been looking at them all day :D

What mods do you have planned for yours???

For right now, suspension, grill, wheels/tires. Don't want to go too overboard at the start. Just some simple things to keep me satisfied for a year or so... After that, not sure what I will do. Depends on what's available out there to do and how I end up using the truck.

    TGK,

    I have a 4x4 with stock 16" rims that I painted black!

Greenthumb, thanks for the photos. I've considered the painting option but my Prerunner came with the factory steel wheels and I'd like to switch to alloy. Unfortunately, it appears to be very difficult to find any 16" alloy wheels in black that have a positive offset remotely close to the stock wheels.

Cool man. I agree with not going overboard at first. I did that with my 09 Jeep and I wound up selling it within the first year of owning it. I'm wanting to keep my next Tacoma pretty mild for a while too. Just some Bilstein 5100's up front and 265's. What grille mod are you planning?

I was looking at doing the grillcraft application with the FJ Toyota emblem. The Satoshi looks really nice, just not sure I have the time to dedicate to doing something like that. I saw someone on here makes them for a fee, but with the cost of the work plus shipping, it'd be less for a grillcraft and the emblem and it'd still be something different. Hopefully next week I can order the Bilsteins for the front and the grill. It'd be nice to have a little more lift before winter hits. Also gives me an excuse to go play! :)

Nice truck man. Love the color. I wish they still made it because I'd get it again in a heartbeat!

New pic of mine, just finished installing the helper springs. I was actually hoping the helpers would not lift the rear end. I haven't measured yet, but wow, that's a lot of lift on the rear.... I hope the springs settle a lot.

The bottle of deicer is directly below the edge of the bumper. I can almost roll my spare under the bumper instead of having to lay it flat...
