    I’m thinking of getting one that says “2010 RC”...

    I think only Taco guys, or at least TW Taco guys, would get it!

    if it wasn't so late in the day i would take a short drive north to Little Sioux and see how the river is flowing, can drive right up to it there, near an abandoned boat dock

    I got a ticket up near Sioux City for “speeding in a construction zone”. Stupid town has been under construction for 20 years and they put the signs right over the crest of a hill so it was impossible to slow from 65 to 45 in time.

    $400 to their revenue generation department...

    Car worked well as the chassis was well sorted. However, it was butt ugly. I could have easily made 1300rwhp with the car but the customers goal was 1025, so when I made the 1100+ pull he said that was enough. So I just adjust some stuff around that mark and let it go. Car wasn’t even working hard yet. 26psi and very conservative timing on C16 fuel. Scared the owner so much he ended up selling it. He’s fine though. Still has a CTSV-2 coupe and a C6ZR1.

    Right now, I’m driving around with the windows down, listening to 1980s power ballads while I make DoorDash deliveries

    @GQ7227

    My first and only speeding ticket was for 43 in a 25 zone, on a hill, in a speed trap area, at almost midnight, with literally one other person on the road; Fought it in court and got it knocked down to 5 MPH over, so no points on my license!

    I have only ever gotten two moving violations in my ‘driving career’. Very first ticket I ever got was 96 in a 55. Lol. In a Mustang I had and I was lucky because I was coming down from about 140mph.

    Second one, years later and haven’t gotten one since, was a 35 in a 30mph zone. I was fairly livid. It was also in a work car. MSP I worked for at the time provided cars to all the IT guys who went onsite. It was only a little Nissan Versa hatchback but it was a stick and they didn’t care if you ran your errands in it. Nice perk not having to pay for fuel for pretty much the entire time I worked for them.

    I had 3 in my senior year of highschool / freshman year of college. I blame the fast and furious lol

    Then none for 10 years until that bs. Should drop off this year.

    i haven’t paid for fuel in nearly 5 years. About $25-30k of fuel..

    Very nice!!! Do you write it off or just use the company card and it’s a straight up perk?

    We had fuel cards for a while but they killed them off and we expense it now. It’s way more of a pain in the ass. I could also claim home office and unreimbursed business expenses on taxes until the lovely changes in 2018.. no refund for me this year.

    Heat yes, A/C as well if I recall. Yes on the VIN. He had hagerty insurance on it though for the full cost of the build.
