    I was just being a smart a$$. I wouldn't own a chrysler product.
My son has a Jeep Wrangler, Rubicon. That's the only chrysler product allowed in my driveway!

I’m with @winkel on stealth capability. I’m a low/zero bling dude typically. When I bought a sport, the decals were gone on the first warm day, about 5 days in. The rest of the badges as well. I just don’t like brand names or decals, even on clothing. Just my personal OCD. I think if you like the decal look the SR5 bedside decals are pretty cool. Let’s face it, outside of our community no one cares. Inside of our community, the only one who matters is you.

Thanks :) i like the stealth mode, but also like some badging in good taste. I already have a blacked out mesh grill with no emblem, so i'm heading that way already

Black wheels for life, bro. My plan for the rig is Method 105s-matte black. Gotta save up the :spending:first though

the "masses" dont know the difference between TRD, pro, SR5, etc etc

and people who do know, largely wont be fooled by it

somewhat related: i like the debadged look. Looks clean and understated. A guy i know, who could best be described as vehicular-unaware, saw my truck from the back, and thought it was a ford.

enthusiasts tend to forget how little everyone else knows (or cares) about vehicles in general

My opinion, all my life, Cheap, trashy, dirty, skanky, no class, Black wheels have always been for those who couldn't afford nice wheels. Now they are all the rage. Black w/ silver spokes, or designs, like some of the Toyota factory whls. are fine. But completely solid black, like some of the new Jeep's have, "NO", "NO", "NO". Remember, we've all got opinions. It's yours, if you want it to look like that, let her go. Just like the stickers this thread was started about.

I'm with you on this one. I'm old school and don't like shiny but I do like the stock silver and raised white letters. I have to admit, some of the dark bronze ones peak my interest, especially since I have a Spruce Mica access cab. I think they would look sharp but I'm too old to drop that kind of coin on something that doesn't improve performance.

I respect everyone's opinions. To each his own preferences. To me, the wheels on my truck are the only OEM Toyota wheels i've ever liked, except for the new TRD pro wheels. Why is it you dislike black wheels?

Please read first sentence in post # 91. That plus I'm old enough, I'm already on Medicare.

What you really need is a Unicorn peeing a glitter rainbow Sticker on the tailgate.
Probably couldn't get that off no matter what you tried.

Point taken. I may disagree(i have yet to see a car that i didn't think would be better off with black wheels) but as has been said, i respect everyone's preferences.

Hey, the...black...tacom, (OP) Please find the thread from back on Dec. 22 2019 titled "Just added these 2007 Fj rims to my 2nd gen. Taco". Look at post #1, #2, & #4, I don't know how to put a link here to go to it. But those pictures will change your mind, I'll almost guarantee it.

There’s a guy that works at Walmart that put a TRD Off-road logo on an SR5.

I really want to beat him up.
