I like that! And as my kids pointed out- a seat for ice cream- 6 year old tailgating at its finest!

Some were good enough to position the oil pan drain plug over the hole (no need for a catch tub). Sure, it would contaminate ground water, but nobody knew that then.
Shoot, in South East Asia, you could hire a guy pushing a 55 gal drum (on a wheeled cart) to oil the dirt road in front of your hootch so as to keep the dust down. There were drums of water as well, but that didn't last as long as the oil would in that jungle heat.
So, someone worried about 6 qts of oil in a hole; will have a heart attack considering all of those 55 gals drums of it poured over many, many kilometers of dirt paths & roads! And done for decades.
So sad. If only we knew then what we know now...

Been there, at least it rained early and not after you washed it and dried it off real nice.

1963. Didn't Coca Cola contain cocaine and doctors endorse cigarette brands back then?

And back then they changed the oil every 2000 miles not twice or once a year.

I like it. Is that cutout a place to put your ice chest when it is slid all the way in and a cook station when it's out?

That is exactly right, good point.

As far as SEA goes tho, it would take about a year to get 2000 miles logged in.

Notice the tonneau in the pictures? The tailgate perimeter is the biggest leak path for water.

@rrentrop @TVD Vinyl has overlay decals - not listed on the site; have to message him and ask for em.

I received one in a cement grey; it’s essentially a chrome delete for your grille emblem.

unfoetunately, I have to wait for warmer weather to put mine on...

Tuned Fox 2.5 resi with dsc, JBA HD UCA, total chaos knuckle gussets, rear trd pro fox shocks, Deaver U402 stage 1 rear leafs, archive garage u bolt flip with fox 2.0 air bumps, White knuckle off road rock sliders, BAMF 1/4” steel skids, Magnaflow exhaust, Archive Garage Hammer Hangers, Cbi high clearance rear bumper, 285/75/16 tires.
They gave right about 2 1/4 inches of lift, they are a little firmer, not in a bad way. The truck feels more planted and for sure has less axle wrap/slop. And the biggest benefit is they don’t bottom out like the stock springs. I had stock springs, then the icon 3 leaf AAL, and now these. So much better now.

Today I swapped my mirror caps from chrome to quicksand. Also installed MESO turn signals. Subtle, but super clean.

Tailgate seal prevent dust from entering the bed when you have a tonneau cover or camper shell.
