If I send my ecu to you how fast can you have it done? My truck is my only transportation and don't want to be without it for a week. So you will charge 250 to flash it? And where are you located?

I've been reading through the Magnuson installation manual and wondered if anybody has had an issue with Intercooler pump occupying the same area as the winch/winch solenoid. On my *cough* 3rd gen, I used that area for the solenoid. It's hard to get a feel for it in the pictures, just curious if I will be running into a clearance problem as I plan to mount a winch bumper after wrapping up the SC installation.

Some people have had issues but relocating the pump isn't too hard as many people have done so.

Have you changed the oil on time always? If so send it. One thing I would recommend is to buy an upgraded fuel pump. Just incase yours is tired and old, go ahead and get that out of the way. Also in terms of flashing the ecu, get the TRD tune as your base tune. From there you can go to hp tuners or ovtune. Avoid using a bullydog tuner if possible.

220k.... that's awesome. Toyotas are unkillable.

So I'm going by Toyota tomorrow to have them check the truck out. Starting to think it's the a/F sensors after someone mentioned it. There not reading anything and truck seems to like bog down while giving like 30% throttle and I'm only getting like 9 mpg according to the tuner.

Consider doing a compression test/leak down. Tools are not bad or you can pay your local mechanic. Lots of YouTube videos on how to do it. Will give you an idea of your engine’s health. Like anything you do, as long as you don’t mind the extra care that comes with modding then go for it. If you’re looking for longevity, NA is always the way to go. If you want a fun project then forced induction is the way to go.

    thank you sir!

yup she’s been a great truck. In the middle of converting to 4wd as well...so big year lol

    thanks man!

I was considering doing a compression test actually (already contacted my mechanic)
But if shit hits the fan; I have a spare 1GR with 60k miles sitting in my garage actually :spy:

I was going to throw it into the truck but my engine feels just as strong as it did from day one
